Quiet and rural area and just a short distance to the river and to the village country inn

Around the area are grocery shops, a local fish and chip shop, lots of good country restaurants and bars. A short drive of about 2 miles will get you to Caernarfon and the world heritage. The town has many shops and retail outlets, restaurants and cafes to enjoy along with banking services and supermarkets.

Welsh steam railway and cycle tracks are a couple of minutes walk from the cottage, and for the golfing enthusiasts there are a couple of 18 hole courses.

Further away is the Isle of Anglesey it is a journey of 12 miles or so, from Holyhead which is 30 miles away you can catch a ferry to Ireland. If air travel is for you then Liverpool International airport is about 90 miles or Manchester International which is about 120 miles.

If beaches are what you prefer to see then the nearest shore is Menai Straits, this area is a natural reservation protect by the RSPB Society, the closest sand beaches are 5 miles at Dinas Dinlle, not forgetting Anglesey has some outstanding sandy beaches.
